The Lifetime Income Process is a planning system that focuses on the truth. LIP shows clients and advisors the truth of a family's financial situation. It gives me confidence that we are giving the client the whole truth. It also gives me confidence that we are beginning at the right place to build a plan that helps the client achieve their goals. It gives the client confidence...they can see very clearly whether they are in great shape financially or whether they need to make changes. Either way (with LIP), we can show them very quickly the answer to keeping their plan on track or how to fix their plan without shoving a bunch of products down their throat. This puts clients at ease and also gives them hope, clarity and direction for their future.

The Lifetime Income Process gives the new advisor a great deal of confidence to know they can add genuine value to the client or prospect along with offering a uniquely simple approach the client easily understands. LIP has given our clients peace of mind and direction that can only be obtained by using this type of system. It never gets old hearing clients and prospects tell us: "This is what I was looking for;” This is "simple;” "I understand this!" Most comments are also accompanied by tears and laughter that comes only from these (LIP) meetings.

It allows me to differentiate myself from the pack right away because I am no longer selling but actually helping the clients determine needs and wants from their side of the table.  

We have been using LIP during client reviews over the last few months. Clients have expressed they really like “seeing” where they are vs. where they would like to be. It allows them to leave feeling accomplished (if they are on track to accomplishing their goals) or leave knowing how they can make tangible changes to get them on the right path. We feel like the client truly sees the value of the program, the results, and the client review. This is a program the client can understand and see how making small changes affects them long-term.

It has made my job as an advisor easier and less time-consuming to produce at a high-level.

I have tried lots of other systems and they are just too confusing and time consuming and lack the simplicity to answer my clients concerns which are: 1) Can I make it if I retire? 2) If I can retire, what kind of retirement am I looking at? Will I be traveling and enjoying life or pinching pennies every month? 3) How do I invest my hard earned money so I don't lose it all but still support my income needs?

It allows me to show under-planned prospects/clients what needs they have quickly and easily. It enables me to prove to them (and myself) how the solutions I suggest address their needs. It reinforces strategies that I have implemented in the past while providing me a tool I can update with current information during client reviews.
