The primary mastermind and motivator behind LIP, David is a highly successful financial professional in Pensacola, FL. Besides having a never-ending energy for helping people unlock their own potential, David is known as a hard-charger who doesn’t believe in “can’t.” He’s had a job since the age of 9 and became a business owner at the age of 17 when he opened his own full-service gas station. After graduating college, he faithfully served the U.S. Government in the Department of Navy for 17 years where he managed large-scale national projects, specifically those that involved software and information technology systems. David wanted to get back to his roots of fiscal responsibility and began searching for answers to tough questions regarding financial balance and preparing for retirement. Unsuccessful in finding an advisor that could give him what he wanted (and needed), he left the government in 2004 to begin his career in the financial industry. He founded Nautilus Financial Strategies, LLC in 2007. Between participating in study groups for the nation’s top financial professionals (those making over $1M/year in income), providing individual coaching services to a variety of successful business owners, doing national speaking engagements, swinging the golf clubs and enjoying his family, David stayed busy. In his “spare” time, he found the desire to create the Lifetime Income Process (LIP), a system that allows financial advisors to duplicate his success easily and systematically. Since the creation of this revolutionary language, software and overall business improvement system, LIP has been used in developing (and even correcting) over 2,000 retirement plans nationwide. David’s mission is to help advisors and clients on a very large scale. In releasing his system to others, he hopes to attract financial professionals that are truly passionate about helping clients with financial balance over their lifetime.

LIP Member Support
Originally from North Carolina, Randy began his career at Nautilus Financial Strategies, LLC after being a client of David’s for several years. Randy was so impressed with the mission of LIP that he became a part of the management team while working as an agent for Nautilus Financial Strategies, LLC. His previous career provided him with 17 years of experience in the retail furniture industry. Fourteen of those years were spent managing sales and operations of multiple store locations. Randy also had the responsibilities of overseeing warehouse operations and home delivery centers. One of the areas Randy excelled in was managing multi-million dollar budgets to produce healthy balance sheets that maximized the profitability of the operations.
Randy helps his clients produce healthy balance sheets in their personal LIP models. Whether it’s planning for a future retirement, building income strategies that a retiree can’t outlive, planning for long-term care needs, or finding ways to leave a legacy to heirs and charities, Randy helps his clients produce a plan that integrates and coordinates many financial components to produce maximum results and efficiency. Many agents can sell you a product, but Randy provides service and a relationship that transcends the transaction. He has a heart to serve others and make a positive difference in people’s lives. LIP members can access support and help from Randy using his experience and knowledge of creating LIP models that work for clients.
The longer I work with David, the more I appreciate his passion and desire to help clients gain control of their financial lives. Everyone who meets David learns of his enthusiasm and passion very quickly, but most don't understand how deep it really runs. Something I get to see that others don't have the privilege of seeing is David's integrity....which is revealed behind the scenes, not when people are looking. Whether it is after a client meeting or working on strategy for a case, David's passion, language and work ethic (for the best interest of the client) never change. He wants the best for people in every aspect of their life more than they want it for themselves.
